I’m Sam - a 29-year-old photographer originally from Brampton, Ontario. I first picked up a camera during Covid, initially as a way to replace my other passion which was the sport of Lacrosse. It quickly turned into a full-blown obsession - and since then, it's pushed me to get out and explore everything from the rugged British Columbia backcountry to the serene alpine of the European Alps. I’ve lived all over - Brevard (NC), Sudbury (ON), Squamish (BC), Geneva (CH), and now Ghent (BE) - and through it all, photography’s been how I connect with all these places. I’m happiest when I’m out in the backcountry, enjoying the peace and tranquility I find on trail. My work is shaped by a love for the outdoors, and moments that I discover out in nature - I’m drawn to capturing scenes that feel lived-in and real. Thanks for stopping by!
